Harrachov, the Czech winter sports capital, is located near Szklarska Poreba, on the other side of the border formed by Polana Jakuszycka. It is very popular both among Czechs and
Poles.
One of the most popular attractions is undoubtedly the famous ski jump complex, located
on the slopes of the Devil's Mountain, which dominates over Harrachov. Going up it with
the chairlift, we can admire the famous mammoth hill, where one of the World Cup
competitions takes place. Harachov also has 7 km of slopes of various difficulty levels, which
are distinguished by a modern artificial snow system, which guarantees excellent skiing
conditions. Harrachov and its surroundings are also among the places with the highest
number of marked bicycle routes in the Czech Republic. The routes and bicycle paths are
attractive thanks to their connection with the bicycle routes on the Polish side of the Izerskie
Mountains in the vicinity of Szklarska Poręba.
