Our suggestions for specer routes for the whole family:

Viewpoint - Golden View

Złoty Widok is a beautiful viewpoint of the Karkonosze Mountains and a resting place. There is a large, wooden viewing platform with wooden couches. The route from Szklarska Poręba leading to it is short, easy, with slight slopes and very pleasant - we follow a forest path. This is an ideal route for the youngest, beginner hikers.

ROUTE: easy, accessible to everyone, no off-road difficulties

In the valley of the Kamienna river

The easiest, though no less interesting, option is the route along the Kamienna River valley, in which Szklarska Poręba is located. This route is a proposal for people traveling even with small children and those who do not feel well in shape. The route is short and with only small ascents, and yet we will reach the Szklarki waterfall, Kochanówka shelter, Chybotka (a piece needs to be knocked off) or Złoty Widok. The route initially runs along the green trail and from the middle (with a small exception) it leads along the blue trail. The beginning and the end, of course, in the center of Szklarska Poręba.

ROUTE: very easy, accessible to everyone, no off-road difficulties

On the High Stone

The trails from Szklarska Poręba to the north are as interesting as those leading south, and definitely less demanding, which is why the next route is a proposal to climb Wysoki Kamień. We start again from Szklarska Poręba and follow the red trail towards the peak of Wysoki Kamień. After reaching the top, we turn right onto the yellow tourist trail and follow it until we reach the Death Curve, passing Red Rocks and the top of Czarna Góra on the way. At the aforementioned Death Turn, we enter the black trail, which we follow down to Szklarska Poręba. We reach the red trail again and follow the well-known route back to the starting point, which is the end of the route.

ROUTE: medium, accessible to everyone
